History

Little is detailed about Rhino’s life before the zombie plague arrived on Earth-2149, however it can be presumed that it followed much the same path as Rhino (Earth-616).

Once infected with the Zombie Contagion, Aleksei is eventually killed by the Power Cosmic Zombies while fighting over the fallen body of Galactus.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

As a result of exposure to various forms of radiation over the years and a specially designed costume, Rhino possesses various superhuman physical attributes.

Superhuman Strength: The Rhino is superhumanly strong and is capable of lifting about 80 tons under optimum conditions.

'Superhuman Speed: Despite his great size, the Rhino is capable of running up 100 miles per hour for short distances.

Superhuman Stamina: The Rhino's superhumanly enhanced muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the muscles of ordinary humans. He can exert himself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.

Superhuman Durability: The Rhino's costume grants him a high degree of resistance to physical injury. It is highly impervious to damage, able to resist explosions equivalent to 1 ton of TNT, the impact of small anti-tank weaponry, and temperature extremes between -50˚ and 1,000˚ F without cracking or melting. It is acid resistant and removable. The suit boosts his strength, features a bulletproof polymer mat rhino-like hide and two horns capable of penetrating 2-inch plate steel.

Abilities

Though he has had little formal training, the Rhino's sheer strength and resistance to injury render him a formidable hand to hand combatant. He uses street fighting techniques that allow him to make full use of those attributes.
