Synopsis for "The Mysterious Radio-active Man!"

While on a medical assistance trip to India, Dr Don Blake's party is ambushed by Red Chinese. Using the power of Thor, he captures their tanks of the Hindu army and then uses a rock slide and storm to drive back the invaders.

The angry Chinese General back in Peking orders his chief scientist, Dr Chen Lu, to find a way to eradicate Thor. Using a machine of his own creation, Lu converts himself into a Radio-active Man with radiation, heat and explosive force abilities. He is then delivered by sub to New York City where he begins to destroy everything around him.

Having just finished surgery, Dr Don Blake transforms into Thor and attacks the Radio-active Man. His hammer proves ineffective against Lu's radioactive shield. Using his power, Lu hypnotizes Thor and makes him toss his hammer away. As the Radio-active Man leaves to find the hammer, Thor reverts to his Blake form.
Returning to his office, Blake uses an experimental electronic x-ray device to spot his hammer at the bottom of the Hudson River. Leaping into the river, Blake grabs the hammer and is immediately transformed back into Thor. He then swings the hammer until he creates a tornado which carries the Radio-active Man back to China, where the impact of his landing sets him off as a nuclear explosion.

Returning to his office as Blake, he is chided by Jane about his doing "routine work" while Thor is defeating the Radio-active Man. He replies that "we can't all be heroes".
