History

This reality chronologically around the events of Uncanny X-Men #137, where Jean Grey is put on trial for crimes she committed as Dark Phoenix. In this reality however, the being put on trial is truly Jean Grey, not a clone, and not the Phoenix Force posing as Jean. The Exiles disguise themselves as members of the Imperial Guard to kill Jean, and eventually the X-Men (realizing that Jean must be destroyed) team up and aid the Exiles in exacting the killer blow.
