Thursday, June 30th, 2005
- In summary of the most productive month yet: We have acheived the 1500 article mark as we had set out to do, and over 2200 images now. We are well underway to building a formidable resource of Marvel content. With that said, we are pleased to announce the foundation of our sister site: The DC Database Project. More details will come in the month of July. Early estimates have that site online by the end of July.
- After an unfortunate, but necessary outage last night, we managed to not only upgrade our server software (Apache), but were able to compile PHP with the GD Library. What this means is the thumbnailing function, which hasn't worked since we came online in January, is now up and running just fine. Enjoy!
Monday, June 27th
- We have more wonderful features for you to take advantage of! The first is a list of top contributors to the database and the second is a page dedicated to our logos. In the near future we will rotate through logos on a weekly basis... Keep an eye out!
- 1500 Articles is quite an acheivement, but we are far from finished, let's keep them coming!

- A new section has arrived! We have just added the Comics section which will hold information about every Marvel comic and its content. Everything from editors, artists, cast of characters and a synopsis can be found here!

- In recognition of a few of our major contributors, we have updated the Staff page to include Sleeper, Darkhawk, and Perfectbrak. Check back as new members become a part of our senior crew!

- Congratulations to us! We have reached 50 registered users on the database!
- We have already broken through the 2000 image mark and are drawing very near to our goal of 1500 articles of content by month end... Keep it coming folks!

- Movies, Movies and more Movies! We have added 8 more confirmed Marvel movies slated for release in the coming year(s). Our list now tops 20, and most of these movies won't even be released under the Marvel Studios label. With the newly established division of Marvel backed by a half-billion dollar agreement with Merril-Lynch, we can expect more to come!
- Cover Art has arrived! We are now collecting Cover Art for the Gallery. If you have some works to contribute, please lend a hand.

- No major updates to report. We have been away for a bit so no updates have been added. We will be back on the update-wagon as it were, very shortly. Our webhosting company is planning to add more capacity for our site. We currently have 250 GB for this site and have barely topped 100 MB with pictures and forums included! Let's go guys... We have lots of work ahead of us!

- May's mission of ramping up our community was a success! We now have over 30 members of the database and over 20 on the forums! In addition to that we have had a number of great contributions to the database from 'anonymous users'. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. Don't forget, we are always looking for new members of the community, so spread the word!
- June's mission: Article ramp up! We will be looking at a goal of about 1500 articles of content by month-end. Check the main page for an up-to-date count!
