History:

The history of ROM of Earth-9997 mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart. In recent history, for reasons unknown, Rom now lives in Limbo, where he fights the Dire Wraths in that realm. When Captain America and Mar-Vel traveled there to collect Anti-Metal, ROM would give Cap his Neutralizer weapon to banish any foes he would encounter to Limbo. ROM's current fate following this remains to be revealed.

Powers & Abilities:
Rom had all the powers and abilities as his Earth-616 counterpart. In recent times, ROM maintained his human form, and while residing in Limbo he had armed himself with a shield constructed out of the chest plate of his old Spaceknight armor, and wielded the Neutralizer weapon, which could banish those hit by it's beam to the realm of Limbo. When used in Limbo, this device would instead fire concussive blasts of an unknown nature.
