Synopsis for "Mekano Lives!"

Beast catches two burglars in the mansion and knocks them senseless. Afterwards, the X-Men hook them to a machine so they forget everything they saw. However, they find themselves incapable of going to Professor X's aid because they have no money for plane fare. They try to get a loan, and get turned down. They try to do construction work, but they aren't part of the union. Hank and Bobby try doing circus stunts for cash in Washington Square Park, but then Mekano appears, declares he's going to destroy the new library, and claims the X-Men as accomplices! They battle, the library gets trashed a little, but as Mekano tries to get away his grip slips and he starts plunging to his death. Marvel Girl telekinetically stops him, and he gives up. Mr. Regal arrives on the scene, learns his son was trashing the library for attention, and forgives him - and gives the X-Men some cash for their help, enough to get to europe!
