History:

Victor von Doom came to the temple in the Himalayas to attempt to learn from the Ancient One to rescue his mother from Mephisto. The Ancient One reluctantly taught Victor, and though he seemed to excel in all areas of the mystic arts, the Master still saw him as a failure. Nevertheless, the Ancient One accompanied Victor on his quest to free his mother, and died due to Victor's inabilities.
